yeah i have a remedy and cut my post when i first got the bike not knowing that it was to short for the climb. my local bike shop told me to have the seat post below the triangle that is welded on to the top and seat tube..i ride a small so everthing is really tight on the bike . that weld that acctually broke on yours is alomost below my evo link ..i got a ks i900 seat post and love it on the bike it performs perfect. i have a pic of the bike with the i900 on it in my profile...RIDE ON
